Stories about the 101st Airborne at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, meeting Billy Cox, moving to Indianapolis and then Nashville, playing the Chitlin’ Circuit, The Del Morocco Club and the Jefferson Street scene, Jimi’s pet monkey, Jimi’s first recording session, getting arrested for sitting at a “white only” lunch counter, Jimi’s first Stratocaster, leaving Nashville, etc.
