  1. Re: Episode 30. I'm liking your introductory vignettes, they're fun. This one gives me the urge to live into my nineties, wear a red dress and floppy hat, and utterly squelch a few shrieking harpies now and then. What the hell, I'm already committed to getting my first tattoo for my hundredth birthday, anyway. This would give me an additional goal in life.

    And as a quick non sequitor, it takes a certain audacity for a man — whose native cuisine includes not only black pudding but eel pie! — to find a maple bacon milk-shake peculiar, don't you think? I'm no bacon worshipper myself, but as long as you skip the chocolate chips, how bad could it be? Beats hell out of tea with milk in it, at least.
